A very interesting interview with magnificent Pippo talking about glorious La Callas. As I think he talks about experience from Mexico City performance, May 29, 1952. It's also glorious recording, but with very damaged sound. So I decided to add another recording conducted by with majestic Tulio Serafin.
Absolutely magnificent singing by all of them, two my most favorite singers, also great Rolando Panerai and Nicola Rossi-Lemeni.
"Qui la voce sua soave" starts at 0:33 and ends with baritone/bass duet at 3:40. "A te, o cara" continue the scene, but from the baritone/bass duet.
Enjoy,
Elvira- Maria Callas
Arturo- Giuseppe Di Stefano
Riccardo- Rolando Panerai
Giorgio- Nicola Rossi-Lemeni
Bruno- Angelo Mercuriali
Gualtiero Valton- Carlo Forti
Enrichetta- Aurora Cattelani

A te, o cara, amor talora
Mi guidò furtivo e in pianto;
Or mi guida a te d'accanto
Tra la gioia e l'esultar.
Al brillar di sì bell'ora,
Se rammento il mio tormento
Si raddoppia il mio contento,
M'è più caro il palpitar.
To you, oh dear one, love at times
lead me furtively and in tears;
now it guides me to your side
in joy and exhultation.
At the radiance of such a beautiful hour
if I renew my torment,
it redoubles my happiness,
'tis more dear the (heart's) beating.
