Enrico Caruso - No, Piu Nobile Tu Sei Delle

One of Caruso's rarest records. Accompanied by the composer Francesco Cilea, this is a duet for Soprano & Tenor with no Soprano. Cilea continues to play on and on and stops in the middle of a piano phrase as they run out of record.
Caruso had created the tenor role in Adriana Lecouvreur at its premiere the prior month, and I guess they wanted to get a record out to the public as soon as possible. A very strange record but a great one.
