The aria was wrote by Charles de Bériot, Maria Malibran's husband as a opposite solo of Nemorino's 'Una furtiva lagrima' of Donizetti's L'Elisir d'Amore.
Adina's final aria:
"Prendi; prendi, per me sei libero"
"Il mio rigor dimentica"
(This cabaletta is frequently replaced by another piece or ignored. It's an old fashioned piece which consists in repetitions of trills, ascending and descending scales passages).
Recorded in London, January and June 1970
