Singer: Andrew McKinley

FUTURE RELEASE

Merry Christmas!

Extract from the 1951 recording of Gian Carlo Menotti's Amahl and the Night Visitors with the cast of the original NBC Television production.

"This is my box" is sung by tenor Andrew McKinley (1903-1996) in the role of Kaspar, one of the Three Kings. This version was originally recorded in New York City, December 1951. A studio orchestra is conducted by Thomas Schippers.

I have transferred the mono LP to CD and used audio editing software and my own process to create a stereo sound.

The recording is out of copyright in the EU and UK so these are the only regions where I can sell my LP-to-CD transfer.

Copies will be available shortly at my ebay page.
