Singer: Venanzio RauzziniFrom the Australian premiere of Mozart's opera from 1772, LUCIO SILLA K.135, mezzo-soprano Bronwyn Clarke, performs Cecilio's aria from Act One - "Il tenero momento". This role was written, and tailored for, the brilliant soprano castrato Venanzio Rauzzini. The production, directed by Vyvyan Black, featured a cast of Australian singers - Queensland born - and was conducted by Brian Castles-Onion in September 1993.
