Performance was conducted by Pierre Monteux.
Apologies for taking a short leave of absence, I was/am visiting family. I was going to post Fritz Wunderlich singing excerpts from Bach's Christmas Oratorio but I forgot my audio converting software at home. Will post in a few weeks but it will be a very belated Christmas greeting. In the meantime enjoy this excellent performance (especially in wake of the recent disastrous Met production of Hoffmann), a belated Merry Christmas/Happy Holidays, and an early Happy New Year.
