The great Swedish tenor Jussi Björling (1911-1960) in 'Che gelida manina' from Puccini's La Bohème, coming from a concert at the Gröna Lund amusement park in Stockholm, Sweden, on 19 July 1956. He was accompanied by Harry Ebert on the piano.
Jussi Björling loved to sing for the audience at Gröna Lund and always gave his very best on occasions of his concerts at this particular venue.
The picture shows Björling in his debut at the New York Metropolitan Opera in 1938 in the role of Rodolfo, with Metropolitan Opea General Manager Edward Johnson.
