ARKADIUS BURSKI -BASS was born in Poland .

After his military service he studied singing and acting at the Warsaw Conservatory with Prof. Jerzy Karolus. He graduated as a solo performer. While still a student he made chamber concert appearances with the National Philharmonie in Warsaw, the Philharmonie in Stettin, Lublin, Waldenburg und Krakau.His first engagement was with the Stadttheater Freiberg in Germany. He was a guest soloist in Dresden, Brandenburg und Chemnitz. Private studies with the Ks. Eleonore Elstermann in Dresden.Then he was engaged at the Theater St. Gallen (Switzerland).
He perfected his vocal technique with Bruno Pola (Italy). A further engagement lead him to Pforzheim where he took part in four productions.
Freelance artist since 1995.
He has sung in:

- Luxemburg in Esch sur - Alzette
- Switzerland in Basle, St. Gallen, Biel, Bern, Zürich (Tonhalle),Genf
- France in Anzy le Duc, Mülhausen,Strasbourg
- Italy - Brescia, Verona, Turin, Roma
- Germany in Schwetzingen, Bad Kissingen, Dresden, Bayreuth, Pforzheim, Halle a/ S, Frankfurt a/MIn 1995 sang the role of the Commendatore in W.A.Mozarts opera „Don Giovanni for a CD recording.
Two years later he sang the Bass Solo in L. van Beethovens 9th Symphony for Italian television.
He has taken part in master classes with Ion Buzea, Ks. Nicolai Gedda, Gloria Davy, Maria Chiara und Gianni Raimondi.
He enjoys singing works from the Baroque to contemporary music. He has also taken part in a number of world premières. His repertoire includes as many roles for Bass as for Baritone.
