Joan Sutherland, Luciano Pavarotti and Sherrill Milnes, all of them in amazing vocal shape and particularly expressive in this rendition of the haunting second scene of La Traviata's 2nd Act, from this legendary performance from the Met, in October 1970. There is still the marvelous luxury casting of the (then) very young Frederica von Stade as Flora Bervoix.

Sound quality enhanced and corrected by me from the original in-house recording, which had an unduly higher pitch.
