Romanian soprano Angela Gheorghiu's magnificent rendition of "Come in quest'ora bruna" + "Cielo di stelle orbato" + "Vieni a mirar la cerula" (Verdi, Simon Boccanegra, 1857; act I; the tenor in the duets is Roberto Alagna). Sung in true Verdian style, this rendition ranks with the very best in the history of opera.

Angela performed the full role on stage at Covent Garden (2004), the MET (2007) and Teatro Real, Madrid (2010).
